This kit includes 2 x 3W 12 volt LED Bulk Head Lights controlled by a PIR sensor and are powered by a maintenance free 20AH sealed lead acid battery, the battery is housed in a weatherproof IP65 outdoor power box along with a solar charge controller that in turn protects the battery from over-discharge (LED lights) and overcharge from the solar panel.
Both the solar panel and the lights come pre wired for quick and easy plug and play installation, the lights are fitted with 3M of cable and allowing the solar panel to be positioned for maximum performance.
PIR sensor Details
The PIR sensor has a 120º motion sensor with a built in adjustable brightness detector that can be adjusted based on the brightness you want the floodlight to operate on the PIR sensor. There is also the option to adjust the delay timer of when the floodlight will turn off between 5 seconds and 10 minutes. The PIR detection range is 0~8m ；＜22º,8-12m
This kit was designed by Sunshine Solar for use in a bus shelter where very bright lights could not be used in case they put off passing traffic. The lights from the 3W LED Bulbs supplied with this kit are therefore not intended as work lights and more as background lighting. This low energy solar powered lighting solution is perfect for all small shelter applications where background lighting is required such as bus shelters, smoking shelters, storage containers etc
