Product Overview 

An isolation transformer works by magnetically coupling the shore power supply to the onboard AC system without a direct electrical connection. This breaks the galvanic circuit that would otherwise form between a vessel's metal hull, the shore earth conductor, and other vessels or structures in the water. In marina environments, this stray current path is a well-documented cause of accelerated corrosion on propellers, shafts, and hull fittings. 

The 115/230V dual voltage capability means the transformer can accept either North American 115V shore supplies or European 230V supplies, making it practical for vessels that travel between different regions or marinas with mixed infrastructure. At 2500W, it covers typical onboard loads including battery chargers, air conditioning units, galley appliances, and general AC distribution panels.
