Folding Solar Panels

Folding solar panels are portable solar panels designed to fold up into a compact shape, making them easy to carry, store, and transport while still generating electricity from sunlight when unfolded. 

What makes them different?

Unlike standard rigid or flexible panels, our folding solar panels fold like an accordion they are lightweight and portable and most suited to non permanent installation 

How they work 

They use the same basic technology as regular solar panels (usually monocrystalline solar cells), but the cells are mounted on: Fabric-backed panels Hinged sections Flexible or semi-flexible materials When unfolded and placed in sunlight, they convert sunlight into electricity, which can: 

•  Charge batteries 
•  Power small devices
•  Feed power into a portable power station
