Each bracket protrudes 30mm so this needs to be added to the overall solar panel dimensions when calculating roof space require.

Please Note: If you need to reposition mounting brackets away from the pre-drilled holes on your solar panels, the aluminium frame makes this process quick and straightforward. Solar panel frames are made from lightweight aluminium, which is easy to drill, allowing you to create new fixing points exactly where needed for your installation.
When drilling new holes in a solar panel frame, it is important to protect the glass panel underneath. To prevent accidental damage, place a piece of wood, such as a baton, beneath the frame while drilling. This acts as a safeguard, stopping the drill bit from coming into contact with the glass once it passes through the aluminium.
By following these simple steps, you can safely and effectively reposition solar panel brackets without risking damage to the panel.
